Packaging Design

Giving season is the most wonderful time of the year. Since winter 2013, I enjoy the moment of each year and give away sweets to my close friends and work colleagues.

In this private project, I have changed from cookies, flavoured nuts, macarons, to finally settled with the bonbons pralines since 2018.

CHALLENGES: The flavour choices are the memories of my taste experience from the same passing year. Whether it is a special, creative party shot that I created for an occasion or a surprisingly fine cocktail that I had in a bar. I take packaging design seriously and enjoy creating it as much as its content. For the year 2020, I planned to do it differently by letting myself inspired by the lessons I have learnt from the design school with the concept of sustainability. The package design is a two-part rounded triangle box (made from paper pulp) to contain five pieces of bonbons praline.

RESULT: The design was then built in CAD software for the mould making process with 3D printing.
